What is Hours Per Day

The Hours per day means how many hours you use your monitor. Enter how many hours per day you use your monitor. For example, If you use 8 hours per day then input 8. Also, If you use 8 hours 30 mins per day you can input 8.5 hours.

What is Power Used (Watts)

The power used means how many watts your monitor consume per hour. Average monitor watts per hour is 15-85 watts depending on your monitor size and brand. For example, a 14-inch LG monitor consumes around 35 watts per hour on average. Another example is a 27 inch 144hz hdr monitor consumes 56 watts approx.

So it’s better to check your monitor manual for how many watts they consume per hour. Also, check the manufacturer website or search on google with your brand name and size. Example: How many watts LG 24″ monitor consume.

What is Energy Rate ($ / kWh)

The energy rate means how much money you pay for per kilowatts electricity you consume. Enter the price per kilowatts per hour (kWh) in your city or states. You can use average rate is (12 cents) in the US.
